During the 2012 election season, Ms. Braceras was a regular contributor to The Boston Herald and a frequent guest on New England Cable News. A lawyer by training, Ms. Braceras formerly served as a Commissioner of the United States Commission on Civil Rights, a position to which she was appointed by President George W. Bush, and as a Trustee of the University of Massachusetts, a position to which she was appointed by Governor Mitt Romney. In addition to The Boston Herald, Ms Braceras's work has appeared in The Boston Globe, National Review Online, The Wall Street Journal, and other leading publications.
