Robert Pemberton* (Bottom)

Robert Pemberton has performed in numerous productions, most recently ART and Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune at the New Repertory Theatre. He played Bottom in A Midsummer Nights Dream at Boston Theatre Works. Other favorite productions include Ponies, for Gloucester Stage Company, Mercy Seat at the Lyric Stage, Antony in Antony and Cleopatra for BTW, Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing at the Publick. Bob received the 2002 Eliot Norton Award  for Shel’s Shorts at the Market Theatre and the 2010 IRNE Award for his work in Speed the Plough. Robert’s film work includes By the Sea (nominated for a Latin Oscar), Treading Water, Boondock Saints, The Exchange, Gentleman from Boston, Temps, The Still Point, The New England Connection and Anathema.
