Fred Sullivan, Jr. (Menenius) returns to CSC for his 6th consecutive summer having played Parolles in All's Well That Ends Well; Jaques in As You Like It (Norton Award - Outstanding Actor), Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Brabantio in Othello and Ageon in The Comedy of Errors. A resident actor at Trinity Rep, Fred has played over 110 roles in 29 seasons including Falstaff in Henry IV and Merry Wives of Windsor, Walter Burns in His Girl Friday (IRNE Award); Charles in Blithe Spirit (Norton Award), James Tyrone, Jr. in A Moon for the Misbegotten and Edmund Tyrone in Long Day’s Journey into Night. Favorite roles include Harold Hill, Oscar Madison, Captain Hook, Alfie Doolittle, Toby Belch, Warbucks, and Creon. Fred directed Boeing Boeing, Shooting Star & Christmas Carol for TRC. A resident director at the Gamm Theatre since 1996, Fred staged Hamlet, Much Ado About Nothing, King Lear, The Tempest, The Glass Menagerie, Barrymore, La Bete, Glengarry Glen Ross, Boom and Awake and Sing! (Norton Award), This season Fred will be in House & Garden at Trinity, King Lear in Dallas and play Rothko in Red at Gamm. Fred teaches acting at RISD, Gamm and Trinity.
